What you can expect
The Montessori Campus Berlin Köpenick is an institution sponsored by the Montessori Foundation Berlin. The campus includes a nursery as well as a primary school and a secondary school for currently around 370 children and young people from their first year of life to their middle school certificate. As a state-recognized educational institution, we have been working successfully for 20 years according to the principles of Montessori pedagogy and are a recognized national and international Montessori training and internship facility. Our campus is currently being made universally accessible.
We consistently implement the principles of Montessori pedagogy across all age groups and are constantly developing within this framework. Our aim is to recognize and support children and young people in their uniqueness.
Your mission
We are looking for: Learning group leader (m/f/d) for the second stage of development (primary school 6-12 years) full-time (native English speaker/C1).
Our learning group leaders work in teams of two, each with around 27 children in mixed-age groups. As family groups, a 1/2/3 (6-9 year old) is always connected to a 4/5/6 (9-12 year old), but they have two rooms next to each other. Our team is made up of multinationals and has a great deal of creative freedom.
Your profile
As our preferred candidate, you bring:
- Native language English or CEFR: C1 English – preferably bilingual
- A national or international Montessori diploma (6-12) or the willingness to acquire one in the near future
- A teacher training course or the possibility of acquiring a teaching permit
- Ability to work independently and under your own responsibility, as well as the ability to work in a team
- Respectful interaction with children, parents and colleagues

The non-profit Montessori Stiftung Berlin is committed to lively and practical learning for children and adolescents. With an educational orientation according to the principles of Montessori education, the Montessori Stiftung Berlin encourages young people to go their own ways and to help shape a just, peaceful and open society. The foundation is responsible for five schools and six kindergartens, which care for a total of about 1200 children and students. The facilities offer education from kindergarten to high school.
